Chula’s Commerce and Accountancy collaborates with Com7 to elevate quality of Thai higher education Date: 19 Aug 2020
The Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy of Chulalongkorn University has signed an MoU with Com7 Public Company Limited, a leading IT operator in Thailand, to elevate the quality of Thai higher education by enabling students to access classes remotely, ultimately providing them with equal educational opportunities.
As part of the MoU, Com7 has donated 20 computers to the faculty to be allocated to needy students as deemed appropriate. Other aid includes computer loan or rental services and purchase installment options or privileges.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all classes have to be delivered virtually. Some students having less access to computing devices are consequently at a disadvantage. The faculty’s keen awareness of the situation and heavy emphasis on the quality of education has brought this collaboration into being.
