Chula’s Commerce and Accountancy and I&I Group and iCE Consulting together launch project to equip students and alumni with skills for the future Date: 17 Jun 2021
The Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy of Chulalongkorn University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Dean, has pressed ahead with establishing collaboration with allies from the business world to initiate the Digital Technology for Accounting and Business project. For instance, the faculty recently signed an MoU with I&I Group Public Company Limited and iCE Consulting, represented by Mr. Somchai Mekasuvanroj, Chief Executive Officer. The event was also attended by Mr. Taweesak Saengthong, Managing Director of Oracle.
The aim of the project is to offer problem-based, experiential courses in the form of micro-learning modules to the students, focusing on the skills necessary for the future that can be further utilized in any setting, be it educational or professional.
The project has arisen from the faculty’s awareness of the importance of experiential learning over traditional instruction in today’s world of business uncertainties and challenges.
The courses are also open to alumni as a part of the faculty’s promotion of lifelong learning – a trait vital to thriving in the ever-changing 21st century.
